I noticed the other day that my depth meter no long works! Gosh, the things only 30 years old for Christ's sake! Anyway, I'm going to replace it with a newer one as well as replace the know meter. Any suggestions on kits? Remember now, they are the original 4-6" round size. Sheesh, guess it's time to go back to West Marine again! Gosh darn it! Oh well, at least the boat's finally in the water for the season. See you on the lake folks!

depth sounder

Alan.............When I bought my depth sounder 2 years ago......... I wanted one witout a lot of bells and whistles that I would never use. I settled on a Humminbird 100 for $90 at Walmart. I has worked flawlessly! No drilling through the hull was a big plus for me. It also has a feature that allows me to check the state of my battery which I really like. You can spend up $1000 for one.... but why?Good luck!!
