CMap NT
Hi Don,I have a Raytheon chartplotter / fishfinder at the NavStation and a color Radar display at the console connected with the High Speed Bus (HSB). The CMap NT chips provide detailed easy to read charts plus object database such as bouy # and flash interval, marina info and tide data. Very nice but expensive. CMap provides a rental program plus you can join their new 'Club CMap' to get reduced rates. But the best way would be to find someone like me who could lend you their chips with a security deposit that would be refunded when the chips are returned. Since I rented most of the chips I needed for my cruise, I only have Upper Chesapeake Bay (C and D canal to Choptank River), Charleston SC to Cape Hatteras, Lake Worth FL to Dry Tortugas (the Keys) and Galveston TX to New Orleans LA to lend. Rental of 10 chips is under $700 and you get to keep one after the 30 day rental period.I'm in Baltimore and can be reached at 410 910 1316.
