Electrical Upgrade

I am interested in upgrading my Alternator and battery configuration. I am looking at adding the Balmar alternator and the freedom inverter charger 2000. Inclusive to this, I will be adding the battery management system by heart inetrface, the link 2000R. Has nayone installed such a system? If so how well does it work?, and was it easy to install?

Crenier: I can not add much re installation because I paid my local yard to do it. But, I am aware that the negative shunt created a number of wiring challenges. Our larger Balmar also required a custom bracket.Regarding operation, I loved it. Having the ability to micro manage my amp use and replacement is great. It is scary to watch the amps drain when using the inverter and a 110 appliance. I cruise north for a month+ each summer spending most nights on the hook. The link 2000R enabled me to minimize my daily engine charging. I highly recommend the entire system.Have you any experience with solor pannels or hard dodgers?Paul
