Any ideas? The wire that goes to the lift pump has broken off. It will work the pump if I shove it back into the rubber grommet in the side of the pump, as it does make contact. What would be a good way to keep it from pulling loose out of there again?

Ed, I don't know what you mean by a "liftpump", anyway, as a temporary measure you could try a small alligator clip to hold the connection, before dismantling the broken connection and refastening it.All the best
