Still trying to understand my (new to me)1984 Hunter 25.5. The electrical panel has a number of toggle switches on the left (looking at the panel): cabin lights, miscellaneous, battery, running lights, etc. which are self explanatory. Here are my questions: 1. I don't understand what the toggle for the "battery" does? Everything seems to run OK without that switch being thrown. 2. There is a single toggle above the panel and I am at a loss as to what that's for. Any comments? 3. There are fuses to the right of each toggle switch that have an arrow indicating how to remove them. However, I have not been able to remove any one. Is it possible that they are so old that they do not spring out when turned. If so, what can I do to correct the problem?

Very ODD!

Well if it was on the AC panel I'd say "battery charger" Clearly though it is on the DC panel. If it is the topmost switch I'd say it was the main DC power switch but I don't get the impression it is from your description as everything works with it off. You would have to pull the panel and trace the wires. The fuses come out by pushing in on the cap and then turning 1/4 turn. The cap is one of the terminals and retains the fuse as you pull the cap off.
