Anyone out there have a old H25 with the original electrical panel? I have identified the running lights, interior lights and the depth finder but there are a bunch of smaller switches that I'm not too sure about....anyone have any clues to these? Also has anyone come across an owners manual for a 74 H25? I've checked the links in the archives and they don't provide much more than a couple of random pages...bummer. Thanks! Chris

While you are waiting. . .

for an H25 owner to respond: 1)I am assuming there are no markings, 2) have you pulled the panel to see if those switches are wired?, 3) you do not mention the bilge pump or steaming lights which are shown in the diagram(link below), 4) no anchor light or knot log?, and 5) did someone wire in pressured water or 110AC? All that I can think of.

since 1974...

...I'd be willing to bet that the boat's been re-wired, or had items added/removed/changed. When I bought my '78 H25, the wiring was such a hack job that the bilge pump was wired to the circuit breaker for the (non-existant) anchor light. I literally pulled all of the old wiring out and re-wired it from scratch. Your best bet is to go over the wiring with a multi-meter, and determine where each wire in the panel goes. It took me about 2 hours to map out all the old wiring in the boat, but it was time well spent as I gained a better understanding of how the electrical system (or didn't). --Jon Bastien H25 'Adagio'
