Electrical Fuse panel

I am new to boat ownership. I recently bought a Catalina 30. On the electrical panel there are two pull switches it looks like the original label has faded but the prior owner painted "S" on the top one and "T" on the other.

Can anyone tell me what this is for? Thanks,

We'd only be guessing

What you describe is NOT OEM.

So why not do the right thing and open up your electrical panel and follow the wires?

Then you can tell us what they do.

Sights, sounds, smells, taste and wiring are impossible to analyze over the internet.

Maybe it is "P" and "S" for port and starboard? Maybe they wired the 'sides' of the boat?
