Electric windlas for B 343

Can anyone tell me what kind of an electric windlass can be fitted on a Beneteau 343?

It looks like it has to be a vertical model to be mounted inside the anchor locker?

Just completed installation of a Lewmar V2 windlass on my '06 Ben 343. The V2 is about the same dimensions as the Lewmar Concept windlass that was typically installed at the factory & is no longer available. The V2 is a tight fit; however, it worked out fine. Email me if you would like more info.

Just replaced the original Goiot with a Maxwell VWC1500 i have an 1988 432. It fit perfectly.

Not sure but I looked into the specs and advice on the Lewmar site and it seems a V700 would work perhaps? They saw take the weight of the anchor and rode and multiply by 4. I have about 10 feet of chain and 35# CQR so @700 lbs. lifting capacity the V700 should work. And is shown for listed for boats to 35 feet on Lewmar.

Of course If you went all chain I would up the ante.

I would love to know where the stock Beneteau installed the switch and ran th wire.
