I am considering converting a Lewmar 44ST on a 2000 450 Passage to electric and wanted to determine if the electric power requirements are within the electric distribution compartment. I would want to be able to run winch off house batteries that are then charged by autostart generator. The house batteries go to inverter/charger under port settee, and I'm not sure if a cable to handle the winch load runs to compartment above engine. Anchor windlass runs off starter battery switch, so I only run windlass with engine running. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
