electric start problem

I have a 94 hunter 23.5 with a merc 9.9 electric start .the motor will not start with the electric start. had the motor tested and there was not a problem with the electric start when off the boat. ps this winter thing has to go can,t sail on a fronzen lake.

Battery?

If your battery is weak or damaged, you won't get enough cranking speed. Also cables, etc might be at fault.
