I would start tit fuses and breakers. If you do not have a ground not much else will function. Ha e you checked to see if you have any power to the panel?

You have two options:
1. Get a voltmeter and start tracing circuits identifying where the fault is, or
2. Rely on wild-ass guesses due to lack of any further info.

Sorry for the sarcastic reply but it's frustrating when someone wants others to take time helping but fails to provide any details or make any effort to narrow down the cause.

You make a great point Don... but ill go ahead and throw out a wild assed guess.... my guess would be either a wire is unhooked/broken, or there is corrosion in the circuit, or a fuse is blown.... and just because the battery hot wires seem to be in great condition, the other half of the electrical circuit are the grounds... check it as thoroughly and completely as you do the hot wires...

FWIW on my boat the engine panel and starting system part company with the rest of the DC electrical system right after the 1-2-ALL switch so what I would check is the wire from the DC panel back to that switch and the negative wire from the panel back to the battery.

As the others have said you need to just open some stuff up and look for something loose or disconnected. If your DC panel shares space with the AC panel (like on my boat) then disconnect/disable all sources of AC before you delve into it. Provided you do that this is not a hazardous endeavor.

Make good notes/take pictures before you disconnect anything.

Since final fit out was done buy the dealers you'll want to check how your batteries are actually wired up. Our 260 had the motor wired to one battery, the panel and all electronics wired to a second battery. - there was also no battery selector switch.

Inquire if you do have a battery selector if it has quick field disconnect. If you accidentally switch the selector while the engine is running, it will protect the alternator.

You are at risk with the real old battery selectors that do not have it. Not sure how it works but wanted to pass this on to you and everyone.

Thanks Dave for this. Unfortunately my dealer didn't put any switches for the batteries on the boat! (i've since corrected!)
