Ahhh....boating....you gotta love it.

I fixed the air lock in the water system and attempted to use the head. The little :cussing: thing won't flush.

It is an ITT Jabsco electric flush. When I pressed the flush button, the Admiral noticed that the DC meter on the switch panel pegs, meaning juice to the motor but the shaft wont turn the pump.

She worked just fine 2 weeks ago.

I put a screwdriver on the motor end of the shaft, she is stiff as hell....like with the clog we had over the summer....but nobody clogged it this time....or so I am told.

Could this be the shaft locking up, or is the most likely cause another clog?

Mine did this from time to time, would show big amp draw to start motor and then pop breaker. I finally had to replace it. Motor had burned up prematurely from living in a damp environment. Saved the old pump housing for spare parts.

Being a Jabsco pump, if it is like their macerator pump it has leaked into the motor part and corroded the electrical bits.
