Electric Fuel Gauge

Has anyone outfitted their Vega with an electric fuel guage with a
gauge which reads in the cockpit? If so, could you provide
make/model and brief installation details?

I have
to reply to you Jeff...my fuel gage is a carved stick with notches on it that I
insert into the original copper gas tank...Simplicity eh!...Good luck...I'm sure
someone has installed one.

Jeff,
I have not installed a fuel quantity system in my
Vega but you can buy an electric fuel gauge system from BoatUS or West
Marine for about $40.00. A sending unit must be installed in the tank and
a Gauge (typically a 2" cutout) mounted where you want it. The system
usually comes with a wiring diagram and installation instructions. The
gauge operates from 12VDC and is simple to wire up. The following link is
