The Lectra/San does perform as advertised
And works with manual toilets just as well as it does with any other kind. However, it does require adequate power resources to handle the 1.7 ah/flush consumption, and MUST be installed within 6' of the toilet and at or below the level of the toilet discharge. It requires very little maintenance. The Lectra/San has been around since the early 70s, actually BEFORE there were any marine sanitation laws. Some of those first units are still in service.
