ELCI Breaker Install Question

Getting ready to install a Blue Sea 30 amp ELCI and the instructions say to twist the black and white wire before you pass it through the sensor loop
Anyone know how tight you have to make the twist

The goal of that is to simply keep the two wires very close to each other (touching) inside the sensor..

here is how I did mine last year. Just reasonably twisted and used the zip tie to secure the twisted pair to the loop.
