Are these boats known/popular in the US like they are in Europe? Any owners or people who have experience with them out there? What's your opinion about these boats (quality, how they sail, etc)?

Elan Impression boats

While they have a sprinkling of US dealers, Elan has never put the effort in to make it big in the USA. Which it too bad, because their current boats, all designed by Humphreys Yacht Design, are very good performers. The Impressions are not really my style, but I've been on one and it was well done. Some of the interior elements could have used a bit more thought, but overall very nice. I'd own one of the E/S series boats in a second.
