Edson Wheel Shaft size 1990 Legend

I am hoping someone could give me the shaft size for the Edson Wheel. My boat is in MX and I don't have access to it. I just figured out I could replace that black thing in the picture with a proper threaded knob. I would be willing to bet anyone with a hull number near mine or even just a 1990 35.5 has the same Edson pedestal.

By the way, how do I decode my hull #, what is the serial number of my boat: HUN35503B090.

it is a 1" shaft on my H42, but I think all Edson pedestals are the same. The nut is available at West or Defender for around $70 in a nice fully knurled SS machined piece- I fitted one to my boat - a nice upgrade!

Sure its not hull 355? Not sure how many they made, why do you think its hull #3?

Duh, just saw it, 355 for 35.5, hey, where is #1 & 2? I got me a nice boat, love it....
