Last year the rudder fell off my Hunter 27. Repairs required a new steering cable, which I ordered from Edson for $350. When my boatyard received cable from Edson, they informed me the chain was too large for my steering sprocket. I called Edson and was told they no longer make chain/cable for my size boat. After a desperate search, I found appropriate chain from local industrial suppler for $20 and cable nicopressed to chain from another supplier for additional $40. In my time of need, Edson failed me twice.
