Looking to buy a used pedestal. Found a Edson pedestal which has the number C-100 on the inside bottom. Anyone know what this is or what boat is was from? Thanks.

Joe, I just installed a pedestal guard, cockpit table and instrument pod on my H260, I had a number of conversations and emails with Edson. They were very helpful figuring out what I wanted and how it all would go together, a very good company to deal with. I'm sure they could answer all your questions.

Edson does not have a C-100 reference number in their current catalog unless it was an earlier model number that has been discontinued. Their current base model is a 335/336 used on lots of different boat makes and models including our 1991 P42 and our previous boat a 1989 H28.
What all comes with the pedestal that you are considering to buy? It should include mounting hardware, Ritchie compass, wheel, chain, cable, throttle and transmission shift levers, etc.

No mounting hardware, has compass, wheel (22"), chain, cable, but not throttle/trans shift levers....paid $350 for it. What do you think? Figure for about $750 I can do it all..... Already sanded it down, new glossy white marine paint...looks better than the hull...Joe.
Hi Joe, maybe less, hard to say. A couple of questions:
1. Is your boat set up for wheel steering with quadrant?
2. Do you have an inboard propulsion system?
Depending upon what you have will determine the difficulty factor.
