Hoping someone will know or have a suggestion on how to remove/replace the ball joints on the Edson CDI steering draglink. The ball joints on mine are old and warn our, the one near the rudder is easily accessible and a non event, however the one under the pedestal is very tight to the fiberglass and there is no obvious way remove it.
Has anyone encountered this issue ?
The picture below is from a boat I found in this forum, not mine but exact same issue ! The only difference is that in my boat there is virtually room to push the ball joint downwards, I can barely remove the nut.
