I have a 1995 Catalina 30. The steering needs to be lubricated. Does anyone have a suggestion how to or point me to information (website or video) how to do this.

Edson Binnacle Steering Lubrication

.................while fixing my topping lift fitings I dropped a large pliers smack dab onto the top of my Richie Binnacle mounted compass and broke the glass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ever feel really dumb???!!!! 
Anyways.............
I bought a replacement and while the comnpass was removed the Edson linkages were all exposed. I used a can of DRY LUBE to lubricate all the lcomponents to help loosen everything up. One year later everytihng is just fine.
My recommendation is a can of DRY LUBE
