Edge trim for Pearson 26 transom

I've seen several posts from a few years ago asking the same question:
Anyone know where I can edge trim/lip guard for the transom on a Pearson 26?

It's L-shaped hard plastic, about 3.5 feet long, and the two sides measure 1" x 1.5"

I've seen L-shaped trim that's smaller (more like .5" x .5"). Anyone know if the smaller trim would be OK?
