Got this awesome Sailor's Tailor cover from eBay a few days ago. I was planning to have one made this summer so I was stoked to get this for a fraction of what it was gonna cost me. Came just in the nic of time too since I have all of my teak and the crib boards off for refinishing and we are expecting storms all weekend.

Sure wish I'd had this all winter. My girl was spotless when I laid her up and stayed pretty clean all winter. However, the owner of that Hunter next to me didn't scrape their bottom at haul out, but instead waited until last weekend and scraped it in the wind. Guess where it all ended up...

Yeah, for sure. This is the same cover that Catalina Direct sells. When you add the extra cutouts for stantions and stern rail, this cover costs $800. Even with the exorbitant shipping price, my cost still started with a 1. Listing said it was in "fair" condition, but I took a gamble anyway and I'm glad I did because I would be shocked if this had more than one season on it.

Great deal ! Do you have close up shots of how the slots for the stanchions are closed at the rail ?
Not that I'll be changing it now, but I'm in the final stages of altering a 22ft powerboat cover (that I picked up at costco), for the our C22.

Dang, I'm jealous. After hours of sewing, I'm inclined to think I'm nuts to have tried it. Heck even paying $1000 starts to sound good after being chained to a sewing machine for hours and hours.

No I don't, but I am going out to reinstall my teak later today and will snap a few for you.

Awesome !

Looks like a good cover
The zipper + flaps with snaps seems like a good design to keep the water out, because it creates a raised lip along the edge.

Those metal rings where the bungies end at the clips, concern me a bit due to possible chafing.
I'd wrap them with tape to protect the cover.

The clips seem like a good way handle the bungie connections. Especially if you are using the cover when the boat is not on a trailer.

My cover is using a perimeter attachment design that I saw online. I replaced the covers original continuous bungie, with sections of rope with eye splices at the stantion slots. One eye splice will pass through the other, and attach to a rope tying to the trailer. (obviously not a good design for use at the dock)
