easy step mast/

Have a 27 1979 with what looks a easy stepping mast. does anyone have a close up of a 27 cabin top? The mast seems to just float on the cabin top with a "H" frame aft of the mast for some stability. This is my first hunter. The copied owners manual does not list anything about the mast base.
