East Coast Rendezvous

OK, I know that , so far anyway, no one has announced any plans for
anything on the East Coast. But it's not too late. An "End of the
Season" party would be just the ticket! One last sailing outing
before the winter layup.

All we need is someone to step up to the plate to be the contact
point, make a few phone calls and post a few messages here. Really,
it's not that hard. If you need a little help to get started call,
write or email me or Brian (You don't mind do you Brian?)and we'll
get you pointed in the right direction. It really needn't be
anything elaborate. I'm sure you can find a marina or yacht club
that would be willing to be the designated host. Then all that
remains is to get the word out via the e-group and the Newsletter.
If you're unsure, call me privately and I'll nag, cajole, bully and
shame you into it d;^) (808) 228-3703.

Hi All!

If any of
you folks are interested we are going to be holding our 2001
AlbinCruisers Rendezvous July 20-22 at Crockers Boat Yard, 56 Howard
Street, New London CT 1-860-443-6304
We would welcome any Albin Vegas that would like to join us. Each
boat must make their own reservations with Crockers. So far there
are about 10 boats attending from around New England and as far away as
North Carolina. Feel free to drop me a line for more info.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks!
I'm trying to get a bunch of Albineers together in the Boston area
too. So far I have found about 10 Albin 25's and 27's around Boston
and a couple of Vegas. My dept. just hired a person and when I was
configuring her computer I noticed a photo of a boat on the desk.
Upon closer inspection I found it to be a Vega. Turns out she moors
it not more than a 1000 yards from me in Winthrop, MA. Small
world!
Thanks again and will take photos to post.

Yes, the Solomons are wonderful. We are here now and I can see how it would
be a fantastic place to reserve half a dozen or dozen slips for a weekend.

Sorry we missed you when you were jumping. Yes, that was us in back creek!
:) the blue canvas and burgundy bimini with a kiteboard on deck.
