Hi there kids! It has been awhile since I have posted here. I am taking our "new to us" boat from FL to CT this spring (first time north in a boat). I am looking for a source listing "all weather inlets" and "fair weather" inlets from Stuart, FL to Norfolk, VA. Seems to me I have seen a site like this, but can't remember where. Any help my old sailing buddies can provide will be helpful. Thanks. See you on the ICW this spring!

thanks but

all the inlet photo's I looked at were anywhere from 3 to 5 years old. Maybe I'm missing something..but it looks like old data.

Daryl, your response sounds like....

one I would hear on CWBB. "Buying" a cruising guide does not guarantee you up to date info either! I was looking for someone who may have been down the "ditch" this fall and had some current info. Daryl, maybe you should try and be a little less sarcastic, I was a sailor for 25 years before I bought a trawler. Why do you have to turn it into a money issue? Have a great day.

Skipper Bobs

We came done the ditch in 2004 and one of the most accurate was Skipper Bob's (good pricing as well). Not only was the print dates fairly current it is rerated or commented by others that come down. Updates are also added to the web page. We found that coming down the ICW and occasionaly downloading the website updates made the trip easy and trouble free. The guides help but care and common sense must prevail!
