The weather Gurus are predicting that a cold front will make it down our way in the next couple of days and that by October 1st they forecast a low temperature of 58F. Usually that first front in the fall breaks the summer heat's back but more significantly it brings our winds back. Looking forward to some good sailing.

weather break

I have to agree. Not only will it give a much needed break from the heat and humidity, and and hopefully more wind. It should help regulate the nearly daily thunderstorms. Can't wait. I have to do alot of grinding to "free willy" down below, but havebeen waiting for a little break. At least we're not looking to haul our boats and put them away for the year!.

I am looking forward and been waiting for the weather to change with some good sailing winds and lower temp.
This was my first real summer in Florida and can't wait for it to be over,we love it here and do find lots of things to do when it is hot but bring on that weather breaker and let the wonderful sailing begin.

Same here, It's been one hot and humid summer, and it's time for a break. Some stronger winds would be great. I've only sailed one day this summer where the winds were over 10kts. I'm ready for some cooler weather and 20kt winds. Bring it on!

55º this am. here. I agree with the above. Make for some good overnighters, too. Not that the 90-100º slowed me down any this summer! It's all good as long as I am on the water...
