E-Tec engine-50 or 70 HP

Has anybody installed an Johnson E-Tec on their boat?? It seems to be 1/2 the weight of the Mercury or Honda........

Evinrude Etec

I have the 60 Etec. It's a good engine and I've spoken with several Macgregor owners who have the same engine or variant 40/50/60 and are happy with them. Depending on your need for power you might consider the 90.

E-tec 50

I have an e-tec 50 on my M26 and love it. I would have gone larger, but the dealer would not go above recommended capacity. When the bottom is clean it will do 20 knots and pull a tuber easily. Starts on the first click every time, and maintanence is pretty much zip.
