Duracell 230AH Golf Cart Batteries

I picked up a couple Duracell 6v wet cell golf cart batteries at Sam's Club yesterday. $109 for a 230AH was hard to pass up. They may not be worth a crap but should run the house side of my system ok. Anyone using these for their house bank? Pros...cons?

I researched and bought 4 of them for my Catalina 36 about 18 months ago.

So far no problems.

I think that at the time Maine Sail was recommending them.

Good to hear. I found some reviews recently from RV'ers and all were good reviews. I wish I had room for 2 more.

Had them on the boat 2yrs no issues. Maine had a good article on them. You can not beat the price.

Your batteries are actually Deka Pro Master GC15's, with a Duracell sticker.

Thanks MS, that's good to know. I was going with Trojans but the Duracells at more than half price was hard to pass up. Need to find your write up about them.
