Hi all,

I just tried to purchase my DTops decal for 2020. Once again there is a delay in the process until 10/16.

A. U. G. You need to give them a break. They are celebrating the new fiscal year party. Takes them a bit to adjust the books.

Besides your 2019 decal is good til December.

Ha ha ha ... well no. You see last year I bought my decal September 1 at 2 am for 2019. Then they dropped the web for a while and then had everyone not order until October 1st. In the meantime they sent me another 2018, sorry no refunds. I tried to get it corrected and sent that decal back. However they wouldn’t refund my money or send the correct decal for 2019.

I explained this to CBP when we re-entered from the Bahamas and he checked my story and after a week I finally got an approval. Nice guy taking time to help an old man out. I wonder if I’m in their file now?

I am sorry. It seemed only logical. Nice that you met a humans CBP individual.

When I brought my friend back from Canada without proper identification (carried his wife’s passport) we met a human and were permitted to reenter the USA.

May you beat the bureaucracy at their own game.
