I was wondering if any other owners have dryed out against piles/dock walls etc in a Hunter 30T? and what particular issues they may have had. Any advice?
I'm very aware of the 'winglets' of the Hunter keel, they look vunerable especially if the boat settles at an angle to the ground. Is the boat balanced on its keel (fore and aft) when it takes the ground or is there a tendency to pitch forward/backward? Does it sit back on its rudder?
Any advice would be appriciated - i'm investigating drying out to check the prop.
