Dry Heat.

Hi all! I want some heat for my Cat 30. I need the heat all day and want to run it at night aswell. I am looking at propane.. ex the Dickenson with the fan. I don't want to spend thousands. Is anyone getting good results with something???? Brad......

Force 10

I had a friend install a Force 10 propane heater in his C30 & it kept it pretty warm but I wouldn't go to sleep with it on. You're asking for trouble...if not worse. If you're living aboard, go with an installed forced air heater. You won't regret it & your life will be that much more pleasant.LaDonna

Same question

My wife and I were looking at the Dickenson propane at a recent boat show. I had a Force 10 kerosene on my last boat, and it worked ok for my light usage, but the Dickenson propane has a larger flue, and combined the with propane fuel it should have less odor. I also liked the compact size, which is lower profile than even the Force 10. Since I only intend to use it maybe 15 days a year (in winter) a compact and simple installation is high on my priority.I would also be interested hearing from someone with direct experience with the Dickenson (Newport?) propane heater.
