Dropping the mast

I've had the boat 2 years now and want to pull the mast this
winter. I will lift it off the deck with the hoist at the fish
market. I assume that the heel of the mast steps over a stub on the
deck and that there are no bolts joining the deck and mast, at least I
haven't found any. Am I right? I would like to avoid a surprise at
an inopportune moment.

Hi Craig

The mast is sat on a small (1/2") lip, no bolts etc.
