I am in need for some direction. My toilet on my 87 catalina is leaking. I have had internal problems of not being able to get water to the toilet and use gallon jugs to flush out the bowl. Lately, we have had the toilet leaking after use and it realy smells. Is there a internal replace kit for this model HE GBOCO I do not know if there is anything else to the name,it is all scuffed up. Groco model HE is obsolete...

Current version is HF. HE rebuild kits are still available, but I don't recommend investing in a kit for a "budget" (about $125 at discount) toilet that old AND an obsolete model, and which may not cure your problem. Groco does offer an HE-HF "upgrade kit," which is just a replacement pump that costs about as much a whole new toilet at discount and needs adapters to make it fit the base that could run the price to even more than new one. IMO, all things considered, it's time for a new toilet.
