Drinking water distribution manifold (under sink)

I have a 2005 Hunter 41, aft cockpit. The manifold under the sink has developed a substantial leak. I am pretty sure the leak is coming from the manifold, not one of the connectors to the tubing. Has anyone replaced one, and with what brand? (Access to remove it looks to be a nightmare.)

Bela, I had a leak on mine as well but I found out that if you tightened the bolts that holds it together the leaks stopped. It really is just a "stacked" manifold and the retaining bolts that hold it together do loosen up after time. Good luck!

Are the bolts the ones on the bottom, underside? I tightened them a little bit, but I was afraid to keep cranking away in case something would break.

If I recall they go the entire length of the unit and yes they are at the bottom

I would check the winterization drain on the bottom too. I have had issues with it leaking if not very snug.

Good thought, Ice Breaker. I believe, however, that the source is somewhere where the two parts of the manifold meet. There's a gap between the two parts, and I don't know if tightening the bottom bolts (as has been suggested) will close the gap, and if so, whether it should be closed only partly.

I suggest you do a full diagnostic
Label &remove all the tubing
Then pull the manifold
Look for cracks in the end plates
If this is the case, you’ll need to replace it.
This is caused by bad winterizing . Happens a lot, and with manifolds you can’t be too careful
