What do you all use to hold a can or cup in the cockpit? I am a new C-22 owner and I really need to know. Thanks in advance!!

Try a RV Supply Store

I got a flyer in the mail for a place called RV World (I think). It had plastic gimballed drink holders which clamp to folding chair support tubes (or stanchions) for $5. I got a couple and they work great.

Gotta have 'em!

Someone along the line of ownership of my 29 yr old Cat 22 made some wooden drink holders for the 22 that are the envy of a bunch of my boatyard neighbors! One fits in the cabin passageway slot, has holes fitted for 2 drinks (big enough for sodas in a "cool cup"!) and even has a heel degree level (or whatever it's correctly called) on the front. The other fits into metal slots at the back of the stern, and has spots for 2 more drinks and a little "box" in front for binoculars or whatever.. If you want measurements, let me know - they work great. In addition, there are also drink holders in the cockpit tables available for the C22, but the table isn't practical when under sail :) Lisa

hanging holder

I found a drink holder at West Marine that is a basket on a hook that attaches and swings from the "safety lines" or what ever they are called. A soda can fits in. I got 4, I think they are under $15. And they move with you.
