I an putting up some navigational lights on my 216. Does anyone see a problem of drilling through the top of the bow to secure and run wire? I also have to run wire down through the mast. What is the best way to do this? thanks for any help. d
I have drilled several holes in my H216 over the years with no problem. Just make sure you seal the hole. My Alameda dealer did not Sikaflex the mounts for my spinnaker bowsprit and I now have had mold on the ceiling of the cuddy under the mounts...I just noticed this and it is on my spring fix list. Drat! Example holes: Cam cleat/fairlead fixtures on coaming near stern to single hand the jib.
