Well, my time has come, I noticed that all I have left of the line for the centerboard is the core - borrowed time to be sure! I've read the postings in the archives (thanks folks!) but I never saw anything that stated the size and type of line to use (other than someone recommended spectra for non-stretch). If anyone has done this on their 260/26 and has some info, love to get it!!! This is of course happening when I'm planning to sell the boat....timing is everything!

Thanks and fairwinds,

It Is In The Manual

I am going to BWB to talk with Brett tomorrow I will ask if they can lift your boat off of the trailer to do that. I do not remember if they have slings or not. Did you find out anything about Freeport?

Let me know when you are going to do it and I'll try to come over and lend a hand. Then if we ever do move up a boat size I'll be versed in how to go about it.

Rick, and George...

I appreciate the info. Rick - I will definately call you when the time comes and you should be getting an email from Bryant Perkins, our Scout Executive for this area on the MB info. No luck so far on Freeport - will try again tomorrow.

Regards and fairwinds,

Bill

BWB Can Lift It

Spoke with Brett this AM. He had real good things to say about the guy out in Freeport but did not have any contact info.
