Anyone sail one of these? I had the pleasure of taking one out with an older gentleman the other day. What fun.

Cool little boat. They were produced in my back yard for a while. GOB did a review a few years back.

Webb Chiles sailed most of the way around the world in Drascombe Luggers, which speaks volumes about their ruggedness. He actually had two of them, his original one was confiscated by the Egyptian government, and the builders sent him another one so he could continue his voyage.
Thanks for the article. This little boat sat in the back yard for the last seven years covered in vines. The cover protected it nicely though. The fellow had a stroke back in the fall and thought he would never sail again. I talked him into dragging it out. He cleaned it up and we took it out. Today, I took him a couple of pictures that I took while we were out. Very fun. I hope he ask me to go again.
