Draining water tank?

Need to figure out how to drain my water tank. Do I siphon it out or is there a drain with a through hull?

As far as I know

On my '85 25ft, there is no drain. I figured I could either pull it through the sink pump, or drop the bottom hose off the tank then pump the bildge.

No through-hull

To empty your water tank, you must either run it through the sink using your pump, un-hook the hose, drain it into the bilge and pump out with the bilge pump, or siphon it out (a shop vac works too). In any case, once it's "empty", you need to remove the remainder that is below the take-off, either using a sponge. a shop vac, a siphon, or whatever. There is no direct connection to any through-hull for your drinking water system.SteveAlchemist C-320
