Drain Plug

Dear Mr Magnusson,

I cannot reach the drain plug in my Albin Vega , because the boat is in the
water.

The plug is metric because the boats was designed and build in Sweden.

The Swedes used to drive on the left hand side of the road but their
measurements are metric.

Hi Ronnie;

yes, the plug is metric- but that's about all I can tell
you. Where is your boat? If you're like me in Southern
waters (no freezing), then you can (at least for now) plug
the plug..

Hi

We have the plugs in stock made form the best bronze. Price is £5 plus
carriage. It is a weird thread that has to be cut by lathe rather than a
die. I
also have the complete fittings at £20 each with three fixing holes and again
made from best bronze.

Kind Regards

STeve Birch

Hi Ronnie

Yes we are located in England. Shipping to the USA for the complete fitting is
about £5. Use Excnage Rate of 1.8:1 if paying in dollars. All cheques payable
to DIANA WEBB as she has a US Dollar account. Send to me with your address to:

Thanks to Steve for the great support he provides all us Vega
owners--the marina received the drain plug assembly and I'll soon be
set to sail the SF Bay and beyond.

Welcome Victor, Sounds like you are out here on the west coast.
Where are you located now? Get the boat in the water, the weather has
been clear, blue and beautiful. A bit cold though, like down to the
50's ;-) Craig, #1519 Monterey,CA

Thanks Craig,

Blue Fin is already in Martinez and we're working our way west. (Was
standin' on the corner in Winslow, Arizona just a little while ago.)
Really looking forward to get back on the water.

Has anyone ever put together a directory of Bay area or West Coast
(US) Vega owners?

Thanks again for the welcome.
