Does anyone know the difference between the draft of the WB260 with and without the ballast tank full? I assume the 1'9" quoted is with the ballast tank full. Fair winds!

Spot on

Ballast tank full is as you mentioned then 6' with keel down. Aren't we lucky to be able to pull in close to shore!

Remember, those numbers are unloaded

Both the 1'9" and the 6' are without being loadeded with people, food, engine, fuel, etc. I tried going through 2' of water once and ended up pushing the boat out. Note that you may not be able to keep the tank from filling. We never were able to get that kind of seal on the H26. Markdb

Operating without the ballast tank full

I launch with the valve closed. Floats off the trailer better. The boat drops down about 4-5" after the tank is full. The boat is really unstable without a full tank, hence all the warnings in the owners manual. I don't leave the launch dock area until the tank is full.
