I was wondering if anyone has had anyone has downloaded weather faxes directly from satellite and if so what product they they used. The only products I am aware of are those of Ocens. They appear to be very nice but very pricey.

It's all "pricey".
Going offshore costs a bundle if you take all the recommended gear. And if you are responsible for more than just yourself I guess you have to ante up.
