Door Set Hunter 30 1989 model

Does anyone know the manufacturer of the head door set for a Hunter 30? It is passage only and is mortised in the door. The internal spring snapped and the entire lock set must be replaced. I contacted Hunter but they have no records on this inquiry.

Hunter door set

I have the same problem on my 1990 Hunter ... The internal spring broke ...

I haven't tried this yet, but, McMaster-Carr has springs which might work to replace the broken spring ...
