The interior cupboard door latches seem to be lossing their holding capability on my B352 (1998). Whenever I encounter any heavy seas, the doors open and the contents fly around the cabin. The latches are plastic and work by inserting your finger in the hole and pushing the latch open. My question: is there a way to fix this problem? Should I replace the latches and if so, where can I purchase the same kind of latch? I have noticed that these latches seem to be standard equipment on a lot of boats.

Thanks Murray

Okay, all is well. I solved the problem. After close inspection I determined that the latch (the part attached to door) should be move down a fraction of an inch. This allowed the latch to snap shut and lock. The fitting allows for this adjustment. Simple fix, I don't know why it took me so long to get around to it.
