Just a quick video on a problem I see in the groups & forums all too often. Stainless steel has no place in a DC conductive path. This video goes over where stainless can go and where it cannot.

Shouldn’t be a problem IF the stainless washer is beneath the nut providing mechanical compression, and is above the ring or forked terminal(s), so the electrical load is in direct (flat) contact with the battery terminal base.
Not advocating using stainless washers, but just saying they can be used if you’re careful about placement.
