At least he wasn't aiming for a sailboat

When I lived and sailed in Miami and the Keys to many of these idiots wouldaim for my sailboat. I couldn't understand why until I noticed I was the only thing on the water that was relatively stationary and they could get a fix on.Many times they scared the heck out of me at how close and how fast they would zoom by. I guess they figured that if I was sailing then I was in deep water so they wouldn't run agound.  Well, at least I'm glad he did it to a channel marker and not another (sail) boat!

Don't drink and drive

Tom This happenen near where I sail on the Chesapeake. It happened late at night and as I recall drinking was involved. Two were on board and one guy broke his arm. They were rescued by a passing sailboat that heard but didn't see the accident. Ron

of the first time I put my brand new boat in my slip. What an awful feeling. Thank goodness for the armor plated gel coat on my 25.Steve!
