Don, Thanks for the clear write up in the photo forum for the vertically hinged doors. They do add to the looks of the boat and I'm sure to the convenience of use. I particularly like the removable feature, your use of a single door for both screen and lexan, and the fact that the original stoplog are still available. I am going to measure my 79 H33 to see if it approximates your dimensions. A couple of questions. How do you lock the companionway? From the first photo, it appears that you have also modified the aft end of the sliding companionway hatch. Was this modification associated with the doors? What exactly did you do to the hatch?
