Hello all,

I hope I am posting this in the right place! I am going to go look at a Dolphin 22 today, and I can find virtually NOTHING about it on the web. Apparently, it is a shoal-draft fixed keel pocket cruiser by the same folks who built the Dolphin & Dolphin Sr. board boats. It was built in 1981, and apparently they only built them a couple of years. I found two others online that had sold quickly, but I can find no real information about the boat or the company. Can anybody help? Thanks!

There was an excellent article on Good Old Boat on the Dolphins two years ago or so.

Thanks!

Thanks! That was just about the time I let my subscription lapse when we moved to Oklahoma from Colorado...I'll have to check them for a back issue! Google brings up basically nothing...not even about the much more common board boats. I guess they were not as popular elsewhere as they were in Texas...I saw lots of Dolphin Srs. and Dolphins when I was growing up there.

Thanks again!

Dolphin 22 & Good Old Boat

All I could find on the Good Old Boat site was the Dolphin 24. I looked at the 22 at the marina yesterday and put in an offer. Very "big" for a 22...and pretty heavily built. Felt pretty substantial when you stepped aboard, more so than the Venture 25 we owned years ago. The interior is a museum to the late '70s-early '80s, though...all of that orange carpet and upholstery has GOT to go! :)
