Many tanks to this section. My condenser fan wasn't working. Instead of asking the proverbial "What's wrong with my unit?" question, and requirng the host to answer the same question that had already been asked and answered, I read all the past threads, did the forensic work on my own as suggested by earlier articles and traced it down to a faulty fan. Now I don't have to worry about my electronic module, I know the type of refrigerant I have, I know the tye of compressor and all sorts of other information in addition to the owner's manual's data. Do your homework first, it really helps. Thanks again for a very helpful series of pertinent information. One additional suggestion: Many Catalinas have been provided with a 15 amp fuse in the panel, rather than the 10 amp fuse recommended by A/B and as installed on the unit. I suggest that you check the fuse or breaker at your panel to make sure it is a 10 amp to match the fuse in the Cold Machine.
